The interior wrap is made from butter paper. This paper contains no plastics or petroleum-based coatings. The paper fibers pass through a solution of sulfuric acid, which causes the fibers to swell, forming a homogeneous sheet that makes it resistant to grease and moisture, making it a perfect food wrap. The printing is done with organic soy ink, making the interior wrap fully recyclable and biodegradable. 

This chocolate also supports the Cocoa Horizons Foundation. A collective commitment that makes a practical difference in improving the lives of farmers, eradicating child labour and bringing us closer each day to our goal of achieving a positive impact on deforestation and our carbon footprint by 2025.
