Description
Almost all magic mushrooms for sale are different strains of the Psilocybe Cubensis species of mushrooms. Everything from Golden Teacher to mutants like Enigma. These are Psilocybe Natalensis, a different species of psilocybin-containing mushrooms. For decades, Cubensis has been the traditional popular choice. Natalensis, on the other hand, are a more recently popularized species. Discovered in South Africa in 1995, they’ve only gained popularity in recent years via discussion in online mycology communities.
Natalensis are significantly more potent, with many estimating 1.5-2x the strength of Cubensis, meaning smaller doses yield profound effects. This means that if you’re used to taking 3g of “Cubes”, you might only need 1.5-2g of “Nats” to achieve the same effects.
Subjective Effects: Natalensis is known for delivering a “cleaner” trip, often described as having a friendlier, clearer headspace compared to Cubensis. Users frequently report minimal physical discomfort, a gentle come-up, and an uplifting sense of euphoria. If you tend to feel physically uncomfortable on Cubes, it may be worth trying Natalensis for the reduced body load (physical or tactile sensations)
