The process

Chocolate Making

We meticulously craft our bean-to-bar chocolates with dedication and precision. We begin by sourcing premium, single-origin cacao beans, ensuring that only the finest quality beans are selected for our creations. 

Mexican Trinitario cocoa beans are a cross between the Criollo and Forastero varieties, and are known for their unique flavor profile, which can include fruity, spicy, and earthy notes.

These beans undergo a slow roasting process, which not only develops their rich flavors but also sterilizes them for safety. Post-roasting, the beans are cracked and winnowed to separate the nibs from the husks, a process enhanced by custom machinery designed to optimize efficiency and purity.

The nibs are then refined and ground into a smooth chocolate liquor, a stage where we integrate premium psilocybin mushrooms, grinding them meticulously into the nibs over several days to ensure their presence is undetectable in texture and taste.

Finally, the chocolate is tempered to achieve a glossy finish and satisfying snap before being molded into bars.

This comprehensive process reflects our commitment to quality, resulting in an indulgent and mindful chocolate experience.

Rest assured that our chocolate is vegan-friendly and the packaging is plastic free, its entirely paper-based, making it 100% recyclable.

Sustainable Packaging

The exterior box is made from recycled paper and printed with organic soy inks. Making it fully recyclable and biodegradable. 

The interior wrap is made from butter paper. This paper contains no plastics or petroleum-based coatings. The paper fibers pass through a solution of sulfuric acid, which causes the fibers to swell, forming a homogeneous sheet that makes it resistant to grease and moisture, making it a perfect food wrap. The printing is done with organic soy ink, making the interior wrap fully recyclable and biodegradable.

How to keep?

Storage Instructions:​

To maintain the quality and potency, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat. Once opened, store in an airtight container.

For optimal taste and effectiveness, consume within 6 months of purchase. 

Do not store in the fridge or freezer as this will decrease the potency of the mushrooms. Furthermore, Chocolate easily absorbs odours of whatever’s in the refrigerator.  Moisture in the fridge can also lead to sugar bloom, meaning the sugar rises to the surface and discolours the chocolate
